Jardin Majorelle Ticket Types Explained (Garden, Museums)

Jardin Majorelle Ticket Types Explained

Quick answer: Jardin Majorelle ticket types map to doors: garden-only timed entry, garden plus Berber museum, garden plus YSL museum, and rare Villa Oasis access. Buy the product that names every door you will use. Children under 10 often enter the garden free with a paying adult. Confirm inclusions and prices only at live checkout.

TLDR

  • Start by naming the doors you need: garden, Berber museum, YSL museum, Villa Oasis.
  • Garden-only is the default. Museums are add-ons or separate products.
  • Combined tickets often require starting at the garden at the printed time.
  • Child, resident, and group rules vary. Confirm on the product page.
  • We do not publish fixed prices here. Use live checkout.

Table of contents

“Jardin majorelle ticket types” sounds like a fare chart. On the ground it is a door chart. Buy the wrong type and you will see the blue walls and get turned away at the museum.

This article maps types, not MAD amounts. Prices belong on the booking form the day you pay.

The four access products people confuse

  1. Public garden (Jardin Majorelle)
Timed walk through the planted estate.

  2. Pierre Bergé Museum of Berber Arts
Indoor collection inside the garden complex. Own hours (8:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., last entry 5:30 p.m.).

  3. Musée Yves Saint Laurent Marrakech
    Separate building. Closed Wednesday. 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m., last entry 6:00 p.m.

  4. Private Garden of Villa Oasis
Separate, closed Wednesday, earlier last entry. Not a casual add-on in most tourist carts.

Official ticketing can package 1-3 on one QR shop. Independent sites, including ours, may list garden access and selected combos. If the title does not name a museum, you did not buy the museum.

Garden-only timed entry

This is what most first-time visitors need. You get a date, a time window, and garden paths, boutique, and café access when those are open.

You do not get a guided lecture, a transfer from the riad, or skip-the-line theater beyond having a valid slot. You still queue to scan.

Choose garden-only if you have one hour, you came for the color, and museums are optional.

Garden plus Berber museum

Useful if you already paid for the garden time and want a quiet indoor half hour. The museum is small. It is a poor substitute for the YSL museum if fashion is the point.

Check whether your combo is “garden + Berber” or “garden only with optional museum upgrade.” Wording matters at the gate.

Garden plus YSL museum (or all three)

This is the product people mean when they say “combined ticket.” Confirm:

  • both site names
  • Wednesday availability (museum closed)
  • required start at the garden
  • whether Berber is included or extra

Tour listings sometimes wrap tickets with a round-trip driver. That is a transfer package, not a new ticket type. The garden still cares about the QR and the clock.

Villa Oasis

Treat Villa Oasis as a specialty visit. Hours differ. Wednesday is closed. Last entry is earlier than the public garden. Do not discover this in the driveway.

If checkout does not mention Villa Oasis, you are not going in.

Children, groups, and extras that are not tickets

Children: our FAQ states children under 10 enter the garden free with a paying adult, proof of age if asked. Museum child rules may differ. Add the child to the order if the form asks, even at zero, so headcount matches.

Groups: one order, one slot. Split checkout creates split times.

Not ticket types: audio guides you download yourself, private photographers, commercial shoots (restricted), food, and hotel pickup.

Refund class: almost everything we sell is non-refundable and non-changeable. That is a condition, not a ticket tier. Details sit on the refund policy.

How to choose at checkout

  1. List the doors you care about.
  2. Open booking.
  3. Read the service name and extras. If YSL is not written, it is not included.
  4. Align the time with museum opening (not before 10:00 a.m. for YSL; not Wednesday).
  5. Pay, save the QR, arrive early.

FAQ

What is the most common ticket type?
Garden-only timed entry.

Is there a skip-the-line ticket?
A valid timed QR is the practical advantage. There is still a scan line.

Usually you need garden admission to be on the grounds. Purchases inside are extra.

Can I upgrade at the door to add the YSL museum?
Do not count on it. Buy the combo if the museum matters.

Are student or resident tickets available here?
Only if checkout shows them. We will not invent categories.

What ticket do children need?
Garden: often free under 10 with an adult. Confirm the form. Bring ID.

Why are prices missing from this page?
They change. Live checkout is accurate. This page is about types.

Who sells these tickets?
On this site, Marrakesh Booking Service, independently. Not the official office.
